Understand the workflow before changing the inputs.

Sector tools save selected drafts in the browser on the device you are using. The sections below explain what the tool is doing, where local rules still control the task, and which steps are worth checking first.

Keep the work visible

Use support content to clarify the workflow, then return to the live task with the relevant source, inputs and local controls still in view.

What is saved

The current browser-based tools can store the form values used to rebuild a draft or workload snapshot. They do not create a shared team record or server-side workflow.

What is not synced

A local draft is not automatically available on another browser, another device or another user's account.

Use the right device

Do not rely on local browser storage for records that must be retained, audited or shared. Treat it as a convenience for local working drafts.

Use the support article to navigate the tool — not to replace the controlled source.

Approved labels, SDS, SOPs, contracts, site procedures and accountable decisions remain authoritative where applicable. If the workflow conflicts with a controlled source, stop and resolve the source issue first.

Use the shortest reliable path.

Work through only the checks that matter to the issue you are trying to resolve.

  1. 01

Use Save draft or Save snapshot on the working tool.

  2. 02

Return on the same browser to restore it.

  3. 03

Use Reset to clear the visible form.

  4. 04

Clear site data in the browser if the stored preview needs to be removed.
